Ph.D. TOPIC:

Technology development of heterojunction with intrinsic thin film interdigitated back contact (HIT-IBC) solar cells via. Hot-Wire (or Catalytic) CVD process.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

Photovoltaics:- Heterojunction solar cells, solar concentrators, Balance of Systems (BOS); Semiconductor Device Fabrication, Thin film technology, and Vacuum systems.

• B.Tech (Electrical Engineering), Assam Engineering College (2013).

• M.Tech (Energy Technology), Tezpur Central University (2017).

• Ph.D. (Metallurgical Engg. & Materials Science), IIT Bombay (present).

RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:

• High vacuum systems & deposition techniques: Hot-wire/ Plasma CVD, RF Magnetron sputtering, Thermal/ Electron beam evaporation.

• Material and electrical characterization of thin films and devices.

• Fabrication of luminescent solar concentrator based photovoltaic system for building integrated PV application.

• Designing BOS for a photovoltaic 'human assisted' rickshaw.
